The activities started with a distribution to Year 7 and 8 students at one of the Christian colleges, where there was a very high uptake of New Testaments. For the rest of the day medical and allied placement (doctors’ surgeries, dentists, physiotherapists etc.) sites were visited, as were the Emergency Services, with our members witnessing as they go.
On the next morning a Mission Breakfast took place, which was attended by pastors and many potential members and supporters of the Gideon ministry. Some immediately decided to join the Gideon ministry by becoming members. On the Sunday many of our members visited churches in Port Stephens, giving reports in some, spreading the news of the work of the Gideon ministry.
